Huatian Temple

Huatian Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

A key Buddhist temple in Anhui Province, located north of Julong Temple at Santianmen. It was built through the fundraising efforts of the abbot, Monk Kuan Cheng, and bears the plaque “Huatian Chan Temple” inscribed by Kang Youwei. Monk Kuan Cheng had a deep passion for calligraphy and painting, especially orchid paintings, and maintained a close friendship with Kang Youwei. In appreciation, Kang Youwei composed a poem to accompany a hanging scroll of orchids painted by Kuan Cheng. The temple currently houses the Mahavira Hall, the Heavenly King Hall, the Chanting Hall, and several meditation rooms, with the Chanting Zen Hall inscribed by Zhao Puchu as “Chanting Zen Hall.”
