Jingju Temple Pagoda

Jingju Temple Pagoda is a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province.

Jingju Temple Pagoda is located in Qingqiao Village, Zhubei Town, Qingyang County, in the Qingqiao Bay area.

It is within the area of Jiuhua Mountain National Forest Park. The pagoda is named after the Jingju Temple that was constructed here during the Tang Dynasty. In the first year of the Zhiping era of the Song Dynasty (1064), it was officially bestowed a name, and was rebuilt in the first year of the Jingkang era (1126). Jingju Temple was destroyed by fire in the 26th year of the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty (1846) and was rebuilt in the 28th year. In 1940, it was burned down by Japanese troops entering the mountain, leaving only the stone pagoda. The stone pagoda is built by stacking irregular slabs of coarse stone, and is also known as the "Stacked Stone Pagoda."

Dongqiao Village: Dongqiao Village is situated in the central part of Zhubei Town, Qingyang County, covering a total area of 18.4 square kilometers. It comprises 14 villager groups, with an agricultural population of 1,964 and 582 households. The cultivated land area is 2,000 mu, including 1,440 mu of paddy fields, and the total forested mountain area spans 22,000 mu, with 19,600 mu designated as timber forest. In 2010, the per capita net income of villagers was 6,040 yuan, and the village collective economy generated an income of 340,000 yuan.
