Qingyang Rongcheng Fuyang Bridge

Qingyang Rongcheng Fuyang Bridge is a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit of Chizhou.

Qingyang Rongcheng Fuyang Bridge is located on Jiuhua East Road, Rongcheng Town, Qingyang County. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

On March 4, 2020, the Chizhou Municipal People's Government designated it as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Chizhou.

Protected area: Includes the structure itself and extends outward, with the southern and northern boundaries defined by the stone railings on both sides extending 10 meters upstream and downstream, and the eastern and western boundaries defined by the bridge’s steps extending 2 meters outward from each end.

Construction control zone: Extends 20 meters outward to the east and west, and 10 meters outward to the south and north, based on the perimeter of the protected area.

Rongcheng Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Qingyang County and the county seat. Established as Rongcheng Town in 1957, later renamed Chengguan Town, then abolished in 1963 and merged into Chengguan Commune. Restored as Rongcheng Town in 1982. Located in the central-western part of the county, it covers an area of 52.5 square kilometers with a population of 34,000. National Highway 318 runs through the town. The Qingyin (Qingyang–Tongling), Qingshi (Qingyang–Shitai), and Qinghuang (Qingyang–Huangshan) highways intersect here, making it a major transportation hub in southern Anhui. The Qingtong River flows north-south through the town.
