Tomb of Wu Yongzhi

The Tomb of Wu Yongzhi is a cultural heritage protection unit of Chizhou City.

The Tomb of Wu Yongzhi is located in Ersheng Village, Jiuhua Township, Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area. Dating back to the Tang Dynasty, it is classified as an ancient tomb.

On March 4, 2020, the Chizhou Municipal People's Government designated it as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Chizhou.

Protected area: the tea fields extending to the outer edges of the tomb’s pit on the east, west, and north sides; the granite stone steps at the front of the tomb mound on the south side.

Construction control zone: extending 5 meters outward in the southeast, southwest, northeast, and northwest directions from the boundary of the protected area.

Ersheng Village: Overview of Ersheng Village

Ersheng Village is situated at the foot of the scenic Jiuhua Mountain. The “Wu Jiu” Highway runs through the entire village, making it a necessary route for domestic and international tourists visiting the mountain. The village enjoys superior location conditions, convenient transportation, high forest coverage, and a beautiful natural environment. Within the village are Sheng’an Primary School, the Grand Wish Mausoleum Cultural Park, and a patriotic education base. There are three provincial-level key temples: Ersheng Hall, Yisu’an, and Wu Xiang Temple. The under-construction 99-meter-tall bronze statue is located in the northern part of the village.
