Jiaxi River Rafting is located in Rucun, Huangshan, and is known as the “No. 1 Rafting Experience in Huangshan.” It stretches 5 kilometers in length, with a rafting duration of up to 45 minutes. Thanks to water storage from the Naban Dam, you can still enjoy the thrill of rafting even during the dry season.

The “No. 1 Rafting in Huangshan” and Jiaxi River inflatable raft surfing have filled the gap in Huangshan tourism by introducing inflatable raft surfing experiences.

This scenic area is a newly developed and distinctive attraction in Huangshan. It is the only place in Huangshan offering inflatable raft surfing rafting. Rafting on inflatable rafts is an emerging sector in the tourism industry, combining entertainment and excitement, and also represents a new trend in sports and fitness travel for the new century.

Huangshan Jiaxi River Inflatable Rafting is located at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, 48 kilometers from Huangshan City (Tunxi), 12 kilometers from the Huangshan Scenic Area (Tangkou Town), 20 kilometers from the World Cultural Heritage sites of Xidi and Hongcun, and 20 kilometers from Emerald Valley. The starting point is at the entrance of the Rucun Tunnel on the Tunhuang Highway — the golden tourist route — or at the entrance of the Hong-Rucun Highway (from Hongcun to Rucun) at the Rucun Tunnel, offering extremely convenient transportation.

The Jiaxi River rafting course covers approximately 5 kilometers. Drifting downstream on an inflatable raft, you’ll be surrounded by beautiful scenery — lush mountains, steep cliffs, dense forests, vast bamboo groves, and endless tea plantations. Along the way, you’ll see perilous peaks, peculiar rocks, blue skies, and white clouds reflected on the water. In shallow areas, the water is crystal clear, while in deeper sections it's as green as jade, with fish and shrimp playing beneath. You’ll be filled with the wonderful feeling of “floating on clear waves, as if traveling through a painting.” Throughout your journey, you’ll hear birds chirping among the green hills, filling you with joy and relaxation. The stunning scenery along the way is truly breathtaking. It’s the perfect destination for those visiting Huangshan and looking to enjoy some water fun.
