Numerous radio, television, newspaper, and online media outlets—including Fujian TV, Sanming TV, Straits Metropolis Daily, Southeast Express, China Tourism News, People's Network, and Sina.com—attended the event and provided comprehensive coverage. In addition, several well-known travel influencers were specially invited to participate in on-site activities, sharing their experiences and spreading the word through social media.
Themed around the "green" of spring plowing and set against the "red" backdrop of the Red Army, this event blends the revitalizing greens of spring with the region’s distinctive red culture. This innovative "red + green" tourism model attracted nearly a thousand visitors from both within and outside the province who are passionate about spring outings and red tourism. To allow tourists to immerse themselves in the beautiful landscapes of Kefang Township while also enjoying the fun of farming, the organizers meticulously arranged a series of activities including the auction of the First Plow of Spring Plowing, a fun relay rice-planting race, fish-catching competitions, snail-catching contests, a sheep competition, and rural gourmet experiences such as “Red Army meals.” Visitors enthusiastically participated and were highly engaged.

Kefang Township is a veteran revolutionary base area. During the Second Revolutionary Civil War, revolutionary figures such as Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, and Peng Dehuai left their footprints in every corner of Kefang, where they established a Soviet government. Today, well-preserved sites remain, including Yangjiao Mountain Fort, Taiping Army Mountain Fort, revolutionary relics, the Min-Gan Guerrilla Headquarters, the Red Army Hospital, the Soviet Bank, and the Red Army Arsenal.
