The Ancient City Rock Ming and Qing Architectural Complex is a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province.
The Ancient City Rock Ming and Qing Architectural Complex is a site dedicated to the centralized preservation of ancient residential buildings, memorial archways, and other historical structures from Xiuning County that could not be protected on their original sites. In accordance with relevant laws and regulations such as the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Cultural Relics" and the "Regulations on the Protection of Ancient Dwellings in Southern Anhui," Xiuning County officially launched this "relocation preservation" project in November 1999. A total of 10 ancient residential buildings and 4 memorial archways were relocated and preserved, all of which are typical Ming and Qing dynasty structures from Huizhou, boasting significant historical, artistic, and scientific value.
