Xikou Guan Di Temple is a cultural heritage site protected by Huangshan City.

Xikou Guan Di Temple is located in Xikou Town, Xiuning County, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

The Red Temple, also known as Guan Di Temple, is a landmark ancient building at the water outlet of the millennia-old town of Xikou. It is situated at the foot of Zhishan Mountain to the north of the town area and fully embodies the features and cultural significance of Huizhou’s water outlet tradition. Originally constructed during the Yongzheng reign (1723–1735) of the Qing Dynasty, the temple has a history of nearly 300 years. Covering an area of about 300 square meters, it consists of one temple and one pavilion. The temple has two courtyards and three bays, and once enshrined a statue of Guan Di. It also featured a plaque inscribed with the words “日舞丹心” (Dancing with Devotion), written by Wang Youdun, a military minister from the Qing Dynasty’s Qianlong era and a local resident.
