Hexiang Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Xiuning County. It was established as Hedai Township in 1952, renamed Hexiang Commune in 1958, and changed back to a township in 1983. In 1992, it was merged into Liukou Town, and then re-established as Hexiang Township in 1994 after being separated from Liukou Town. It is located in the southwestern part of the county, 46.7 kilometers from the county seat. The township covers an area of 130.8 square kilometers with a population of 8,000. The Yuting-Fengcun Highway passes through the area. It administers nine village committees: Yutang, Didian, Meixi, Zhangtian, Tianshe, Fengcun, Simen, Zuolong, and Youlong.
