The Jiujing River originates from the back palace of Tianzhu Mountain, winding its way over ten kilometers as it gathers waters from countless streams and springs. Along its course are secluded pools and cascading waterfalls, with cool breezes and fresh air. The "Jiujing West Wind" is one of the Ten Scenic Spots of Qianyang.

The Jiujing West Wind can be considered a unique wonder of Tianzhu Mountain. What makes it remarkable is that throughout the year, regardless of the weather—cloudy, sunny, rainy, or snowy—a northwest wind blows into the areas of Gukou and Yezhai. Especially in summer, no matter how hot the day may be, once the west wind arrives at night, the heat instantly dissipates. As a result, the valley entrance and Yezhai are not only great spots to enjoy the breeze and scenery but also popular summer retreats.
