Angry about fake, inferior, and toxic food? Why not seek a utopia to leisurely sip chrysanthemum tea by the fence?
Bored with the hustle and dullness? Why not find a paradise to watch the flowers bloom and fade in your courtyard?

Counting blessings, come to Xianning — a city full of wonders. There are mountains, there is water, all praised for their beauty. Golden Osmanthus Lake, Daqianshan Mountain, stunning all year round. You visit, I explore, we all come back praising its three treasures.

First, cleanse your lungs; second, cleanse your stomach; third, soak in hot spring baths. Taste endless natural delicacies, breathe endless fresh air, and speak endlessly of the magical hot spring waters. Even Liu Bei donned his armor, and Cao Cao sharpened his blade upon hearing of them. The two heroes battled at Red Cliffs, fighting over these three treasures.

Treasure One: Hot Springs

Xianning’s hot springs, also known as Boiling Pools, reach a temperature of 50°C. The development and utilization of the hot springs date back over 1,400 years. During the Song Dynasty, “Boiling Hot Spring Waves” were listed as one of the “Eight Scenic Spots of Xianning.” The springs emerge from rocky caves, splashing against stone cliffs with bubbling, steaming mist, earning the name “Hot Spring Rainbow Reflections.” There are over 20 springs here, and regular bathing can help prevent skin diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, gastrointestinal disorders, neuritis, ulcers, and colds.

Country Garden Phoenix Hot Springs

The Country Garden Hot Spring Resort features an indoor and outdoor hot spring complex in a Southeast Asian Bali-style setting. With an innovative and tranquil ambiance, over 40 hot spring pools are arranged along the natural mountain ridges, creating diverse and picturesque landscapes at varying elevations. The ingeniously designed scenery appears both man-made and naturally formed.

Sanjiang Hot Springs

Xianning Sanjiang Forest Hot Springs is a cutting-edge fifth-generation hot spring product that integrates forest, hot spring, osmanthus, and nanmu bamboo resources. It embodies a new concept of eco-health wellness and combines terraced mountain terrain to create an "oxygen bar + hot springs" dual wellness experience where open-air bathing blends seamlessly with lush bamboo forests and hot spring therapy intertwines with forest relaxation.

Taiyi Hot Springs

At Taiyi Hot Springs, soaking becomes an art of spiritual rejuvenation: flavored springs offer you a milk bath even Cleopatra would envy; floral petal springs let you bathe amid the fragrance of a hundred blossoms; herbal springs use a 5,000-year-old medicinal bath tradition for wellness; and stone slab hot springs provide the comforting warmth of heated marble.

Chutian Yaochi Hot Springs

“A heavenly paradise on earth — Yaochi Hot Springs.” The Yaochi Hot Spring Resort is best known for its eco-friendly, garden-style open-air hot springs. It boasts over 40 uniquely featured hot spring pools across ten categories, offering various benefits such as skin beautification, therapy, and health preservation. It uniquely fuses profound Buddhist culture with abundant hot spring tourism resources, making it the first of its kind in Central China.

Hanshang Mountain Forest Hot Springs

The Mountain Forest Hot Spring Wellness Park is built against the mountains, with the southern side backed by Qianshan Mountain and the northern side overlooking Xianning’s day and night cityscape. Its classical-style architecture blends seamlessly with the mountain terrain. Various types of hot spring pools — including natural springs, medicinal herb pools, osmanthus pools, rose pools, imperial concubine pools, massage pools, and surfing pools — are scattered throughout the park. Surrounded by mini gardens and winding paths, you can bask in the sunlight by day and enjoy the evening breeze, immersing yourself in life’s finest pleasures.

Dieshuiwan Hot Springs

Dieshuiwan Hot Springs is the largest indoor ecological hot spring in Central China. Compared to similar resorts, it is renowned for its high water temperature, abundant mineral content, and rich reserves. The hot spring area boasts beautiful scenery surrounded by greenery, where you can gaze at the stars overhead and fully enjoy your private space.

Treasure Two: Lung Cleansing

Of Xianning’s total land area: forested land covers 5,612.86 square kilometers, accounting for 61.98%; the city’s forest coverage rate is 52.3%. Thanks to its pleasant natural environment, it has been awarded honors such as China’s Model Award for Human Settlement Environment and the title of “Most Suitable City for Living in China.”

Stars Bamboo Sea

In spring, the Stars Bamboo Sea is endlessly charming. During the day, the dense bamboo leaves absorb large amounts of heat, and at night they release ample oxygen, functioning like a natural oxygen bar. Strolling through the deep bamboo groves, flanked by emerald-green stalks and gently brushed by rustling leaves, you’ll feel an overwhelming tenderness.

Golden Osmanthus Lake

The lakeshore is adorned with verdant trees and vines, swaying unevenly. The breeze carries the crisp scent of water, while tall clusters of bamboo stand elegantly. White wild camellias, golden wild chrysanthemums, and golden-yellow honeysuckle bloom boldly. Water birds skim low over the lake surface before disappearing into the distant sky. All of this is vividly reflected in the lake, as if mirroring an identical underwater world.
