Xu Gaolou House

Xu Gaolou House is a cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province.

Xu Gaolou House is located in Gaolou Group, Lintou Neighborhood Committee, Yujing Town. Built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, it faces south with a north orientation and features a five-bay visible and seven-bay hidden layout. The five-rafter beams employ a combination of raised-beam and through-tenon construction. It spans 10.6 meters in width and 43.9 meters in depth, covering an area of approximately 207 square meters. The main gate has a concave-shaped plan. The central hall structure is severely damaged, with the eaves columns and inner and outer golden columns removed due to corrosion, leaving only six column bases. In front of the gate, there are two well-preserved octagonal stone flagpole bases. One of them is inscribed with the text: “Qing Qianlong Year of Ren Shen, Imperial Scholar Xu AnGuo of Gaolou.” Additionally, there are four century-old camphor trees that, together with the crescent-shaped pond, form a cohesive architectural ensemble.

Lintou Community: Lintou Neighborhood Committee is located to the north of Yujing Town and was the former site of the Lintou Township government. The community administers 41 villager groups with a total population of 4,039. The Lintou Neighborhood Party Committee has 98 full members and includes three branches: Innovation, Zhongxing, and Yongxin. The community enjoys convenient transportation. Qianyuan Road and Lingqing Road run through the area, situated 14 km from Qianshan County, 30 km from Gaohan Town (the county seat of Huaining County), 13 km from Tianzhu Mountain Station on the Hefei–Jiujiang Railway, and 18 km from the Chezhousi entrance of the Shanghai–Chengdu Expressway.
