Yu Haixing Old House

Yu Haixing Old House is located in Shengli Group, Jianjun Village, Yu Jing Town. Originally built in the early Qing Dynasty, the building follows a layout of five visible and seven hidden bays. It faces east and is constructed with blue bricks and small tiles, sealed with white mud. The entrance hall and central hall are slightly offset to the left. A central axis runs from the central hall to the rear hall. On both sides of the central and rear halls, there are arched doorways connecting to the side wings. The entrance hall and central hall are connected by a fireproof wall. The screen wall features the four characters “履中蹈和” (Follow the Middle and Practice Harmony), adorned with intricate carvings. The beams and pillars are made of smooth round timber, and the bracket sets are spaced spaciously. Yu Haixing Old House is grand in scale and majestic in presence, displaying distinct characteristics of Huizhou-style architecture.

Jianjun Village: Jianjun Village is located at the border between Qian County and Huai County. It currently has 15 villager groups, a population of over 2,000, and covers an area of approximately 4.6 square kilometers, including about 4 square kilometers of grain fields and 0.6 square kilometers of cultivated land.

The village has complete water conservancy facilities, with Wannan Reservoir to the east and a drainage and irrigation station to the south. In recent years, the village has developed thousands of mu of cotton fields, and the per capita income of farmers has quadrupled compared to previous years.
