Qili Fort Ruins

The Qili Fort Ruins is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Qili Fort Ruins are located 1 meter east of No. 15, Qili Group, Dubu Village, Longtan Township. The fortress walls were built entirely with stone as the construction material, extending from north to south along the mountain ridge down to the valley. The mountain ridge is higher in the north and lower in the south, featuring perilous terrain that is advantageous for defense, making its military defensive function very evident.

This stone wall runs from north to south, is 2 meters high, and has a total length of approximately 1,100 meters, with a thickness of 0.8 meters. A section of the wall, about 100 meters long, is relatively well-preserved. The stones used in the wall show no signs of carving and were stacked using natural rocks, mostly granite. The wall surface is neat and regular, and the structure is very solid, having been entirely built by hand. It is said that this stone wall was constructed by troops under Hong Xiuquan to resist the Qing army.
