Zhang Family Cemetery

The Zhang Family Cemetery is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Zhang Family Cemetery is located in Jin Temple Group, Jincheng Village, Guanzhuang Town, situated on the southern side of an east-west oriented hill ridge. The cemetery covers a total area of approximately 500 square meters, with tea, mulberry, and other cash crops planted on the ground surface.

The site currently preserves several tombs from the Song and Qing dynasties. Among the Song dynasty tombs is the “Tomb of Madam Su, Honored Mother of Zhang and Formerly the First-Rank Lady Zhang,” which had its stone stele re-erected in the 13th year of the Daoguang reign during the Qing dynasty. Another tomb belongs to “Imperial Scholar and Grand Protectorate Censor Zhang Wenxian, with his wife Lady Xiao,” forming a joint burial. There is also one Yuan dynasty tomb with an inscription reading “Tomb of Lady Wu, Formerly Honored as a Lady and the Paternal Great-Great-Grandmother of the Zhang Lineage.” Additionally, there are several other common tombs. Most of the inscriptions on the stelae are no longer legible. Most of these tombs feature semi-circular worship platforms, with the remaining earthen mounds standing between 0.8 to 1.1 meters in height.
