Xiaorenjian Site

The Xiaorenjian Site is located on Xiaorenjian Hill in Shibang Mountain, Shibang Village, in the urban area of Luqiao District, covering an area of 120 square meters. In May 1990, a burial mound was discovered, yielding 22 bronze artifacts, 49 pieces of primitive porcelain, 2 earthenware items with gray clay bodies, and 5 jade artifacts. These relics are now housed in the Huangyan District Museum. Later discoveries included a Western Zhou straight-necked jar and a Warring States spiral-patterned bowl, among others. The unearthed artifacts provide tangible evidence for studying the social development of the Western Zhou period.
