Taizhou Ocean World, developed by Taizhou Zhongtai Real Estate, is located northwest of the Civic Square. It is a large aquarium primarily focused on marine life exhibitions. It boasts the greatest height in China and the largest scale in Zhejiang. The venue includes a Tropical Rainforest Pavilion, Coral Reef Fish Pavilion, Marine Culture Pavilion, Marine Mammal Performance Hall, Marine Carnival, Marine Science Education Classroom, and Aquarium Laboratory.

Drawing extensively from the construction experience of major aquariums both in China and abroad, Taizhou Ocean World creatively applies many new concepts. It showcases a wide variety of marine creatures through oversized exhibits, vividly recreating the colorful wonders of the underwater world. The venue also features performances such as mermaid shows, shark-human dancing, seal performances, and aquatic ballet. Supporting services include a Marine Happy Restaurant, a Marine-themed Gift Center, and an Ornamental Fish Sales & Exhibition Center. It is a large-scale exhibition venue with a marine culture theme that integrates science education, appreciation and entertainment, tourism and leisure, and shopping.

Roof: Marine Carnival

Combining interactivity, fun, novelty, knowledge, entertainment... and education, it serves as a trendy destination for young people to play freely, relax, and indulge in celebration...

Fourth Floor: Tropical Rainforest Pavilion

This area features an Amazon Tropical Rainforest Display Zone, Southeast Asia Display Zone, African Fish Display Zone, Premium Freshwater Fish Display Zone, and Waterfall Pool. It is home to Japanese koi, the axolotl (a second-class nationally protected animal), cavefish, the electric elephant fish, the electric eel, kissing gourami that “kiss,” and the upside-down catfish that swims in reverse. A wide variety of unique freshwater fish species from around the globe swim gracefully in clear waters, allowing visitors to appreciate their diverse beauty while experiencing exotic vibes.

Third Floor: Coral Reef Life Pavilion

Includes a Tropical Coral Reef Fish Display Zone, Touch Pool, Jellyfish Display Zone, Sea Turtle Feeding Area, Australian Great Barrier Reef Eco-Zone, and Tea Tasting Area. It features a fully replicated version of Australia’s underwater Great Barrier Reef, as well as square-shaped cowfish, pufferfish, and the highly venomous lionfish.

Second Floor: Undersea Tunnel Pavilion

Divided into Area A and Area B, it houses a Marine Science Education Classroom, Marine Theater, Marine Laboratory, and an Undersea Tunnel. It centralizes all the latest marine information and ocean-themed entertainment programs, with instructors available to explain marine knowledge. Within the fully authentic biomimetic undersea tunnel, various large marine creatures—such as sharks, catfish, and sea turtles—swim right beside you. “Human-Shark Dancing” and “Aquatic Ballet” transport you to the ocean’s playground, offering endless fun within the Undersea Tunnel Pavilion.

First Floor: Marine Culture Pavilion

Comprises an Animal Performance Exhibition Area, Witch’s Attic, Fish-Playing Pool, and Children’s Castle. Four lively and adorable seals put on captivating performances including ball balancing, hoop jumping, ring diving, and boat towing. Visitors can try catching fish in the pool, play with them, and even take these lovely fish home...
