Destination Introduction

Beijing Crocodile Lake Park (formerly Shenzhou Dog Paradise) is China's only tourist attraction that integrates crocodile breeding, viewing, performances, and vacationing. The park is lush with trees and surrounded by green waters, offering an elegant and scenic environment that enhances its appeal for both entertainment and sightseeing. It provides a highly enjoyable experience for both adults and children, as well as being an educational, fun, and thrilling leisure destination. Here, you can enjoy China’s only full-scale Thai-style crocodile taming show, witnessing breathtaking acts such as humans battling crocodiles and crocodiles stacking up, all without spending a fortune. You can also feed the crocodiles in the lake yourself and witness the spectacular scene of them hunting as if a thousand ships were setting sail. In the oceanarium, diving performers dance with sea turtles weighing over 380 jin (approximately 200 kg), while young men outsmart sharks, known as the “kings of the sea.” The performances are sure to win your applause. The dog paradise features over seventy breeds and hundreds of world-famous dogs available for viewing, feeding, and walking.

The park covers 60 acres of scenic area and includes 22 zones: Precious Fur Animal Exhibition Area, Precious Phasianidae Animal Exhibition Area, Precious Special Fowl Animal Exhibition Area, Animal Scientific Research Achievements Display Area, Wildlife Conservation Promotion Display Area, Science and Technology Demonstration Area, Animals for Future Development Display Area, Pet Exhibition and Performance Area, Tonic Medicinal Cuisine Display Area, Dog Paradise Tourism Area, Medicinal Animal Display Area, Children’s Play Area, Aquatic and Amphibian Animal Exhibition Area, Economic Insect Display Area, Courtyard Economy Development Display Area, Virtuous Cycle Display Area, Green Food Trade Area, Hunting Dog Trick Hunting Area, Primitive Slingshot and Bow Hunting Area, Crocodile Island, Crocodile Lake, and Crocodile Hall.
