The specialty vegetable base is located in the renowned Xiaotangshan Town, situated on the Dragon Vein directly north of Beijing, making it a site of prime feng shui. The hot springs of Xiaotangshan are world-famous and have been cherished by emperors throughout history.

The six-lane LITANG Road runs north-south right in front of the training center; to the south lies the east-west oriented Beijing Sixth Ring Road; to the north is the east-west Shunsha Road. It is about twenty kilometers from the North Fourth Ring Road, with a half-hour drive to reach the city center, offering extremely convenient transportation.

The specialty vegetable base covers a construction area of 5,000 square meters, and includes four meeting rooms of large, medium, and small sizes; over 70 guest rooms furnished to three-star standards, and a newly renovated 300-square-meter restaurant that can accommodate 150 guests for dining and lodging simultaneously. The center features recreational facilities such as tennis courts, a dance hall, and a chess and card room, as well as a 40-acre fishing park for leisure activities. Agricultural sightseeing, picking, and display are also major highlights of the center. There are more than 100 greenhouse sheds, growing over 100 varieties of pollution-free and green vegetables and fruits year-round. Here, guests can not only see common vegetables but also a variety of southern tropical fruit crops (such as papaya, guava, passion fruit, and Taiwan green jujube...), which are available for picking all year round. The restaurant mainly serves Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine to meet the diverse needs of guests. The most distinctive offerings are our specialty vegetables, medicinal vegetables, and floral vegetables. The center also provides displays for agricultural experimentation, demonstration, and research, serving as an on-site training facility for Beijing’s agricultural science and technology personnel, while also supporting the future development of agriculture in Beijing.

Xiaotangshan Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Changping County. It is a pilot town for urban construction in the municipality. In 1961, the Xiaotangshan Commune was established; in 1983, it became Xiaotang Township; and in 1990, it was upgraded to a town.
