Destination Introduction

Beijing Tianchi Scenic Area is situated atop the renowned Mangshan Mountain, standing 568 meters above sea level, with a water volume of 450 cubic meters. The lake features rippling blue waters, and its shores are blanketed in verdant grass, forming a green carpet that encircles the Tianchi. You can lean on the railing to take in the view or sit in a circle for a break, enjoying the sight of the mountains and the water, listening to the birds and the fragrance of flowers, and feeling the essence of nature. Moreover, you can climb to the ancient pagoda at the mountaintop and gaze out at the ancient capital city.

On Mao Gong Mountain, the naturally-formed scenery presents the serene figure of a great leader, evoking deep reverence. From the Guanling Platform, you can take in the full view of the 13 imperial tombs of the Ming Dynasty. This place not only boasts stunning scenery but also enjoys exceptionally fresh air, maintaining a first-class air quality all year round, and is often referred to as a “natural oxygen bar.”
