Longquan Sword Museum

The historic and cultural city of Longquan is renowned both in China and abroad for its distinctive porcelain, sword, and mushroom cultures. With a long history, rich heritage, and an abundance of relics.

The Longquan Museum serves as an educational base for the local people to promote the history and culture of Longquan, as well as a tourist attraction for visitors from outside the area to learn about the city.

To the east of the museum is the picturesque "Longyuan Park," to the south is the "Longquan Hotel," and to the northwest are the "Children's Park" and the sports square. Cars can drive directly up to the museum entrance.

The surroundings of the museum are adorned with lush green pines and cypresses, offering a picturesque view. From the stone steps in front of the museum, one can overlook Longyuan Town and take in the scenery of much of this mountain city. The museum houses a fairly rich collection of cultural relics, including stone axes, stone spears, and pottery tripods from the Neolithic Age, bronze swords from the Warring States Period, and over 3,000 cultural relics of fine Tang Dynasty celadon. There are also photographs of the Northern Song Dynasty Longquan celadon five-tube vase, and a copper Buddha printed in 1998 as a stamp by China Post.
