Yunshui Canal

The Yunshui Canal is a cultural relic protection unit of Zhejiang Province.

The Yunshui Canal originates from the Jiangxi Weir at the confluence of the Yanzhang Stream and the Jin Stream on the western side of the former Longyuan Town in Longquan City. It flows from Gongtou in the upper section to Mapu in the lower section, running eastward from west through the entire urban area of Longquan and the Dayang Flat, eventually entering the Longquan Stream, an upper tributary of the Ou River, in the Longquan Basin. The Yunshui Canal runs eastward alongside the streets. It is an artificial irrigation channel built by ancient locals to divert water from the Jiangxi Stream eastward into the farmland, with a total length of 5 kilometers.
