Longquan Kiln Porcelain Workshop

The Longquan Kiln Porcelain Workshop is a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Longquan Kiln Porcelain Workshop is composed of two main parts: the dragon kiln and the workshops. The dragon kiln structure includes four main parts: the firebox (kiln head), the firing chamber, the kiln door, and the flue chamber (chimney). Externally, there are workrooms and windbreak walls in front of the kiln head, pathways and protective walls outside the kiln doors, as well as kiln sheds built on top of the kiln. The workshops consist of porcelain clay crushing (pounding rooms), washing pools and clay storage pools, as well as porcelain-making workshops. It carries on the traditional craftsmanship of the Longquan Kiln. The Longquan porcelain workshops include a total of 13 workshops dating from the late Qing Dynasty to the modern era.
