Destination Introduction

Beijing Tianyi Strawberry Farm is one of the three major production bases of Beijing Tianyi Material Engineering Co., Ltd., covering an area of 1,000 mu. With advanced technology, complete equipment, and scientific management, it ranks among the top agricultural enterprises in China. The farm is located one kilometer south of Xingshou Town, Changping District, Beijing. To the east is Liuxing Road, to the south is Maixin Road, and to the north are rolling hills. The surrounding environment is beautiful, the air is fresh, and it is an ideal destination for leisure and vacation. The area spans nearly 1,000 mu, including 150 solar greenhouses and various uniquely featured orchards.

Tianyi Strawberry Farm highlights the high starting point, high efficiency, and high-tech characteristics of modern agriculture. It has established a modern enterprise system suitable for corporate development, with comprehensive management and fully staffed departments, and its operational mechanisms are rational. All 56 management personnel hold associate degrees or higher, overseeing the company’s production, sales, finance, and picking operations.

In particular, the “Tongzi No. 1” strawberry variety, selectively bred from imported American strains, is currently an ideal choice for both fresh consumption and processing. This variety features long conical or wedge-shaped fruits, smooth and glossy surfaces, and vibrant, bright red wax-like hues. The berries are large and uniformly shaped, with first-grade fruits averaging over 50 grams per piece. The flesh is red, fine, firm, and dense, with a high hardness that allows it to be cut into chunks or slices. The fruit is richly aromatic, sweet with a mild acidity, offering an exceptionally delightful flavor and texture.

With strong support from Tianyi Company and various members of the community, “Tongzi No. 1” strawberries have developed into a distinctive production base in Xingshou and are on track to become the largest production scale nationwide. Meanwhile, the “Tongzi No. 3” and “Tongzi No. 6” strawberry varieties introduced at Tianyi Strawberry Farm offer unique flavors and are the most sought-after during strawberry picking season, attracting visitors who drive in daily from the city just for picking.

Tianyi Strawberry Farm has achieved remarkable results in just a few years. In the 2004–2005 fiscal year alone, it welcomed approximately 30,000 sightseeing visitors, generated sales revenue of 1.8 million RMB, and achieved a strawberry picking volume of about 130,000 jin.

Tianyi Strawberry Farm has obtained certification as a Beijing Safe Agricultural Product and has been recognized as a Beijing Agricultural Standardization Production Demonstration Base, among other titles, contributing its part to the construction and beautification of Changping. Special Note

It offers a diverse range of picking options, including seasonal activities such as strawberry, nectarine, and cantaloupe picking. Among these, strawberry picking is the main highlight at Tianyi Strawberry Farm, which cultivates seven premium strawberry varieties. All seven are the finest selections from domestic and international breeds, each known for excellent quality and unique flavor.

  Changping Changping

Xingshou Town: A township under the jurisdiction of Changping County. Established as Xingshou People's Commune in 1958 and reorganized as Xingshou Township in 1983. Located in the eastern part of the county, 15 kilometers from the county seat, it covers an area of 35.4 square kilometers with a population of 13,000. The Jingmi Diversion Canal runs through the area. The Shatong Railway, Changhuai Highway, Maixin Highway, Liuxing Highway, and Tangqin Highway also pass through. It governs nine village committees: Taolin, Qincheng, Xingshou, Xiangtun, Dongzhuang, Shatuo, Xinzhuang, Xiaocun, and Xiangfang.
