China North International Shooting Range is a patriotic education base.

China North International Shooting Range is the first large-scale tourism venue in China to offer recreational shooting activities. It serves as an excellent site for patriotic education among elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as for raising national defense awareness among the general public. The shooting range is located about 1.5 kilometers west of Nankou Town in Changping District, covering an area of over 300 acres. It is situated near several popular tourist attractions, including the Ming Tombs, Badaling, the Hu Yu Scenic Area, the Old Beijing Miniature Scenic Park, and the Ming Emperors Wax Museum. The nearby three-star Beijing North Great Wall Hotel is also a great destination for leisure and entertainment. The shooting range features an exhibition hall that displays over 130 types of military and civilian firearms—including pistols, rifles, and machine guns—designed and manufactured in China and around the world for visitors to view. The range offers a variety of civilian firearms such as small-caliber handguns, rifles, [–], and paintball guns, allowing guests to engage in different shooting activities including fixed-target, moving-target, running deer, skeet, and paintball (Paintball Interactive Training Battle, or PITB) shooting.
