Happy Orchard

Happy Orchard is located in the southern part of Nankou Town, Changping District, Beijing. It is part of Nankou Farm, one of the first national-level green food production demonstration bases recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture. Covering an area of 30 acres, the orchard mainly grows fruits such as apples, jujubes, and peaches. The fruits here are not only brightly colored but also delicious, making it a great spot for family fruit picking. The harvest season runs from August to December.

The fruits available for picking include Fuji, Wanglin, Red Banana, and the unique Xiushui apple, said to have a lychee-like taste. There are also Winter Jujubes, Pointed Jujubes, Home Jujubes, and Pear Jujubes. These are all high-demand, purely green agricultural products.

Nearby attractions include Baiyanggou Natural Scenic Area, Huyu Natural Scenic Area, the North International Shooting Range, and Heilongtan. Local delicacies such as Yangfang Shengli hot pot lamb and Liucun donkey meat are also famous in the area.
