Taohuawu
The Taohuawu Scenic Area is located in Shangyuan Township in the eastern part of Changping District, 40 kilometers from Beijing. The scenic area centers around Taoyukou Reservoir, bordered to the north by the majestic Yanshan Mountain Range and to the south by the road of the Beijing-Miyun Water Diversion Canal. Here, the landscape is picturesque, and the environment serene. Taoyukou Reservoir spans over 1,000 acres, featuring a broad water surface and crystal-clear water. The reservoir is home to more than ten species of fish, making it an ideal spot for fishing enthusiasts. Tourists can also take motorboats or rowboats to freely cruise and explore the vast waters.
