Peach Blossom Stream in Xiangshan

Located on the northern foothills of Xiangshan. The stream runs from top to bottom, stretching through Qinglong Ridge for a total length of over 800 meters.

Its water originates from a spring at the summit, which remains flowing all year round and now feeds the natural lake Lünü Lake at the top of the central hill. From the peak, one can gaze upon the full view of Peach Blossom Stream—the entire valley winds and meanders, faintly visible, tucked within dense green foliage. On both sides of the stream, several majestic ridges stretch grandly and converge downward at the mouth of the Peach Blossom Stream, as if the mountains themselves curve with the flow of the stream, resembling an unfolding peach blossom.

A few dozen steps eastward from the mouth of Peach Blossom Stream lies a cave also named Peach Blossom Stream. Originally a civil air defense facility, it is now open to visitors. The cave is about 2 meters high and extends over 200 meters in depth. Its walls are smooth and moist, with occasional droplets falling through crevices, producing clear, resonant sounds.

Just across the ridge from Peach Blossom Stream, on the southern foothills of Xiangshan, there is another long mountain stream called South Peach Blossom Stream. This stream lies close to Tingsongyin and faces Meihuatang of Little Xiangshan from afar. Though it may not boast the spectacular sight of grotesque rocks and rushing waterfalls like the northern stream, it flows with crystal-clear springs all year round, cool, clean, and sweet to the taste. Surrounded by thick grass and dense woods along its banks, with birds chirping and pines whispering, the scenery is exquisitely serene.
