Xiangshan Mausoleum

Xiangshan Mausoleum is a cultural tourism attraction.

Located at the eastern foot of Xiangshan Mountain, covering an area of 2.6 hectares, it was completed and opened to the public before the Qingming Festival in 1992. The mausoleum faces squarely south, surrounded by mountains on three sides, with green bamboos embracing the monument. Key attractions include the Stone Archway, the Three-Arch Bridge, the Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall, and the Martyrs Monument.

Stone Archway: Positioned at the front of the mausoleum, it stands 8.7 meters high and 15.4 meters wide. The top of the archway is inscribed with a plaque bearing the name "Xiangshan Mausoleum," written by the former Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

Three-Arch Bridge: Measuring 20 meters in length and 8 meters in width, the arched bridge spans impressively and is also known as the "Rainbow-Spanning Bridge." On both sides of the bridge stand two group sculptures—one is the "Shazhou Farmers' Memorial Monument," and the other is a group sculpture of martyrs.

Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall: Flanking the group sculpture of martyrs are two halls totaling 260 square meters that make up the Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall. The interior displays a list of revolutionary martyrs, introductions to their deeds, photos, and some physical relics.

Martyrs Monument: At the center of the mausoleum stands a 19.28-meter-high, 1.8-meter-wide martyrs monument with a rectangular top. The front of the monument bears eight gilded characters reading "Eternal Glory to the Revolutionary Martyrs," inscribed by Jiang Weiqing, former Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. In front of the monument lies a mourning platform spanning 900 square meters, paved with over 4,000 pieces of Jinshan stone. Behind the monument are the Martyrs' Tomb and the Hall for the Storage of Martyrs' Remains.
