Liangfeng Ecological Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Liangfeng Ecological Park is located west of East Second Ring Road and south of Shazhou East Road, covering an area of 1,200 acres with a total investment of 300 million yuan. Construction began on September 28, 2004, and the park was completed and opened to the public on May 1, 2006. The park is designed with people in mind, guided by ecological principles, and employs environmentally friendly technologies to create a vibrant natural environment through landscaping, water features, and garden ornaments. It forms a comprehensive urban park that integrates leisure, sightseeing, fitness, entertainment, and science education, featuring modern garden characteristics and an urban cultural atmosphere.

The park primarily features native tree species, emphasizes biodiversity, and highlights the concept of a “botanical park,” establishing a stable plant ecological community. It has planted over 1,400 plant varieties, including more than 11,000 trees of various kinds, among which 1,025 are large trees. The park includes 12 specialized gardens: Pine Garden, Bamboo Garden, Plum Garden, Rose Garden, Orchard, Magnolia Garden, Bonsai Garden (Peony Garden), Maple Garden, Cherry Blossom Garden, Osmanthus Garden, Tropical Plant Garden, and Aquatic Plant Garden. It also offers various recreational and service facilities such as a visitor center, restaurants, tea houses, log cabins, waterfront boardwalks, and land and water amusement facilities.

Liangfeng Ecological Park is rich in cultural and historical significance. In the first year of the Taiping era during the Liang Dynasty (556 AD), Liangfeng County was established at the site of Jiyang, with its county seat in Yangshe Town. The park’s name “Liangfeng” symbolizes vast land and abundant resources. The bridges in the park feature a blend of classical and modern designs in various styles, named after the history of Yangshe Castle, among which the reconstruction of the Qinglong Ancient Bridge is a source of pride. The main island of the park is Liangzhou, surrounded by four other islands—Liu Hai, Gao Ming, Fu Shan, and Deng Ying—which symbolize the city's future administrative plan of one city and four districts.

Liangfeng Ecological Park boasts rich landscapes. The park features harmonious combinations of mountains and water, interconnected rivers, crisscrossing paths, undulating terrain, pavilions and towers in view, winding paths, murmuring streams, lush woods, and a variety of flowers. All scenic spots are marked with stone inscriptions, accompanied by poetry and short texts to foster literary appreciation and personal enjoyment.
