Yangshu Mountain Resort is located in Shitouzhai Village, Baima Town, Lishui County (the site of China's Blackberry Festival), 30 kilometers from the county town and 10 kilometers from the Baima exit of the Nanjing–Hangzhou Expressway. The main scenic area covers an area of over a thousand acres. Built against the mountain and beside the water, the resort enjoys the tranquility of nature and the vitality of the land, and is divided into five functional areas: dining, conferences, leisure, sports, and sightseeing. It is hailed as a unique natural oxygen bar in the backyard of Nanjing.

Rich in cultural and historical heritage. The scenic area features an ancient temple with a history of over 600 years, the millennia-old legend of immortals playing chess on Yangshu Mountain, and a local feng shui folk rhyme that goes: “The Azure Dragon lies upon the ridge, the Vermilion Phoenix faces the rising sun, the Spirited Lion and Two Elephants stand guard, while the Turtle and Snake Generals protect. It connects upward to the Yangtze River at Jinling and downward to Taihu Lake and the cities of Suzhou and Hangzhou, renowned across the land and resounding far and wide, safeguarding peace for the region and protecting the well-being of all households.”

Unique ecological garden landscape. The scenic area boasts ten thousand acres of blackberries, ten thousand acres of tea plantations, ten thousand acres of organic vegetables, one thousand acres of blueberries, one thousand acres of chestnuts, one thousand acres of bamboo forests, and one thousand acres of small-seed peanuts, forming a distinctive and richly dense pristine ecological landscape. The main peak of the scenic area, Yangshu Mountain, lies within a geological fault zone with abundant groundwater, giving rise to more than ten reservoirs and numerous springs. The sight of a yangshu tree growing atop the mountain is breathtaking, and its species and scale are found in only three places nationwide.

Abundant red tourism resources. The scenic area is part of a revolutionary base area where the first Party branch and the first anti-Japanese guerrilla unit in Lishui were established during the War of Resistance. The famous Campaign Against Stubborn Forces in Southern Jiangsu was fiercely fought here. The Hui Feng Mountain in the scenic area is home to the Monument to the Campaign Against Stubborn Forces in Southern Jiangsu.

Infrastructure is taking shape. The first phase of the scenic area project has been completed, with the capacity to accommodate 200 diners at once. Authentic local game, wild flavors, a rich selection of organic agricultural products, and traditional countryside cooking methods offer a delightful culinary experience. The conference reception capacity is 180 people, and the standard guest rooms are comfortable and refreshing. Leisure activities such as fishing, sports, and cultural experiences provide relaxation and enjoyment. Colorful and splendid folk performances, including lion and dragon dances, flower-drum opera, and “playing the five instruments,” add to the charm.
