Wuxi’s Lihu Central Park is located at the intersection of Huanhu Road and Shuanghong Bridge, adjacent to Baojie Bridge. Covering an area of approximately 2.5 hectares, part of the site was formerly an outdoor filming base for CCTV’s Wuxi Taihu Film & Television City. It officially opened to the public on September 29, 2005.

The buildings, bridges, and walkways within Lihu Central Park are primarily designed in a European exotic style, highlighting the charm of water and infusing it with new vitality. The park’s distinctive architectural style, vibrant gardens, and the surrounding landscape of mountains, water, and plants blend harmoniously to create picturesque scenery. It offers visitors a serene and natural experience, making it a cultural, recreational, and leisure destination in the Lihu area as well as a high-quality night park for modern urban sightseeing.

Lihu Central Park takes on a uniquely enchanting atmosphere after dark. The musical sculpture fountain and the biomorphic water monster lake fountain combine water features with lighting to create vivid, colorful water art displays—resembling blooming flowers, a peacock spreading its tail, cascading mountain springs, and dancing dragons. The highlight is the water screen movie: a fan-shaped screen rises into the air, projecting films using projectors and lasers that blend seamlessly with the natural night sky. The result is a grand, vivid, and lifelike spectacle. At night, the European-style street in the park is brightly lit, naturally blending the distinct charms of France, Germany, England, and Russia. Water features, lights, and music come together harmoniously to form captivating scenes, immersing visitors in a dreamlike, fairy-tale environment.
