Xishuang Lake Scenic Area

Xishuang Lake Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national wetland park.

Xishuang Lake Scenic Area, a national 4A-level tourist attraction, is located in the western part of Donghai County. It stretches 3.2 kilometers from east to west and 2.65 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of approximately 8.1 square kilometers. The entire scenic area is divided into two major zones: the Ecological Sightseeing Park and the Sports & Leisure Zone. The Ecological Sightseeing Park consists of two main features: the Wetland Park and the Botanical Park; the Sports & Leisure Zone includes the Water Sports Area and the Fitness & Leisure Area. Structurally, Xishuang Lake is divided into four functional areas: the Lakeside Residential Area to the east, the East Dike Scenic Belt, the Central Lake Sports & Leisure Area, and the West Wetland Conservation Area.

Key attractions in Xishuang Lake Scenic Area, such as the Crystal Square, South Lake Wharf, Sunset over Twin Lakes, Donghai Sentiment, Crystal Tower, Seventeen-Arch Landscape Bridge, Flower Viewing Island, Ten-Li Lotus Fragrance, Botanical Garden, and Wetland Park, have been successively completed. Following the development concept of a “Wetland City,” the area aims to become a pleasant new district and a beautiful landmark that integrates “cultural tourism, leisure entertainment, business services, and ecological housing.”
