East Coast Recruiting Travel Influencers – Record Bonuses and Routes

The second East Coast Travel Influencer Recruitment ended on October 30 this year, with over 10,000 participants traveling to the East Coast to take part in the event. To help visitors gain a deeper understanding of Hualien and Taitung, future routes will include more tribal experience activities and challenge missions. The bonus has also been raised from NT$5,000 to NT$6,000, and the top 100 participants with the highest accumulated points will become East Coast Travel Influencers and win the bonus.

To promote the East Coast throughout the year, a special Travel Influencer Recruitment campaign was planned, aiming to offer a deeper connection with the region’s unique natural landscapes and tribal features through route point collection, allowing participants to experience the distinctive charm of the East Coast. To enable travel enthusiasts to join the campaign all year round, the third edition features different route plans from the previous two. In addition to annual events and regular activities organized by the East Coast National Scenic Area Administration, it also includes uploading travel videos and photos, sharing travel experiences, tribal experience activities, and challenge missions.

Some particularly unique routes include visiting the lighthouse at Sanxiantai, where you can enjoy a 270° view of the ocean, experiencing the lighthouse experience activity, exploring Qingshui Cliff, trying local delicacies at Fulong Beach, joining tribal experience activities, and taking on challenge missions... Through these recruitment activity routes, the beauty of the East Coast can be discovered. Now, as long as you participate in 22 routes planned by the East Coast National Scenic Area Administration before the end of November 2013, take photos at the designated spots according to registration or instructions, and upload the photos to the campaign’s official website, you will earn one point. After the event, the top 100 participants with the most accumulated points will be awarded a bonus of NT$6,000.

The first ray of sunlight in Taiwan’s main island in 2013 appeared at 6:35 a.m. at Sanxiantai in Taitung, making the first campaign route the Sanxiantai New Year’s Day Sunrise event. The East Coast National Scenic Area Administration will hold the 【2013<爱你一生>. Welcoming the East Coast Sanxiantai Happy Sunrise】 event on January 1, 2013. With ‘Happiness’ as the theme, the event features a romantic LED lighted pathway that transports you to a starry corridor. Walk through this luminous tunnel to reach the pebble beach and wait for the sunrise to emerge.

This time, a special “2013–2014 【Love You<你>Forever and Always】 Cross-Year Romantic Sunrise Welcome Event” has been planned. For the 2013 Sanxiantai Lighthouse, symbolizing love for 13 years, those who take photos at the lighthouse on New Year’s Day will have a cute cartoon version of themselves drawn. Return in 2014 to participate in the New Year’s Day Sunrise event and you can enjoy a free Amis tribal wedding experience representing a promise for 14 years. After the wedding experience, you’ll be given the cartoon portrait as a keepsake representing eternal love. Whether you’re a couple, friends, or family, any duo is welcome to join. There are 130 spots available, and advance phone reservations are required by December 21.

On New Year’s Day morning, amid the cold darkness, a fire dance performance will be held, with spectacular and dazzling flames creating a thrilling visual and auditory spectacle. Then, as the first rays of sunlight appear at Sanxiantai’s Qixilidian, they will be welcomed with the sounds of PAW PAW drums. The East Coast National Scenic Area Administration has also thoughtfully arranged a Dawn Market for the nearly ten thousand travelers who will be waiting overnight without rest, offering local snacks, specialties, and hot food to help replenish energy at any time.

A series of happiness-themed activities will also take place on-site. Donate two receipts to exchange for an exclusive “I Love You Forever at Sanxiantai” postcard, where you can write a message of sunrise greetings to loved ones far away. The East Coast National Scenic Area Administration will mail this happiness from Sanxiantai for free. Additionally, those who sign up for the Travel Influencer Recruitment event will receive a Sunrise Gift – an LED pen.
