Kissing in front of the “boss”   2,500-yuan soak turned into 100-yuan deal

After December arrives, temperatures continue to drop, making it the perfect weather for a hot spring soak. The New Taipei City Government has partnered with 10 well-known local businesses to exclusively launch the “Happiness for a Lifetime” value package on December 13 and 14. Couples or spouses who follow the event’s requirements to create a symbol of happiness can purchase a hot spring and gourmet combo package—originally priced between 1,380 and 2,500 yuan—for just 100 yuan.

This “1314 Happiness for a Long, Long Time” package takes inspiration from the homophonic dates of December 13 and 14, symbolizing everlasting happiness for a lifetime. In collaboration with local businesses, the city government is offering a limited quota of 100 packages on these two days. Couples or spouses are invited to experience the charm of New Taipei City’s hot springs and gourmet food for just 100 yuan and enjoy 100% happiness.

To participate, couples must first register on the event website to secure a spot. On December 13 or 14, they must visit their chosen participating shop and create a happy moment through actions such as “kissing,” “hugging,” or “face-to-face contact,” maintaining the pose for 99 seconds and taking a commemorative photo. They can then enjoy the hot spring and gourmet combo package offered by the shop for just 100 yuan. Due to limited availability, those interested are advised to register as early as possible when registration opens at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 4, on the event website (HOTTravel.com.tw). The organizers will also announce the list of successful registrants on the same website at 4:00 p.m. on December 7.
