When traveling in Taichung, besides popular spots like Yizhong Street and Fengjia Night Market, the East Sea Art Street commercial area near Tunghai University is also highly favored by visitors. From now until March 17, the Taichung City Government’s Economic Development Bureau is holding the “East Sea Art Street Spring Walk & Blessing Carnival.” Visitors who make any amount of purchases at participating stores in the area will receive a blessing card, on which they can write their wishes, and also be entered into a lucky draw. Additionally, those spending over NT$300 will receive a handmade cultural and creative souvenir from renowned artists in the East Sea Art Street area.

The East Sea Art Street commercial area, rich in exotic charm, is an ideal community formed by artists such as Chang Yung-tsung, Kuan Kuan, and Ku Ling, who embrace the concept of an art village and are dedicated to infusing it with humanistic and artistic spirit through collaborative management. The area features unique handicrafts and home decor shops, unforgettable themed restaurants, and scenic streets that attract many young people to shop. In addition, there are several notable attractions nearby, such as the Luce Memorial Chapel, which has become a landmark of East Sea in Taichung, the Taichung Metropolitan Park ideal for family leisure and sports, and the Dajiaoshan night view popular among couples—all drawing many visitors to the East Sea Art Street area.
