Jinhu Water Forest Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Jinhu Water Forest Park, home to tens of thousands of acres of metasequoia forests, is located in Tangang, Tugou Town, Jinhu County, approximately 2.5 kilometers south of the Jinbao First-Class Highway. Bordered by Gaoyou Lake to the south, Baoying Lake to the north, and facing Baoying County across the lake to the east, the park covers a total area of 11,000 acres, including 10,432 acres of forest land and 548 acres of water surface. The park includes 5,000 acres of ecological forest and 300 acres of ginkgo gardens, with a rich variety of forest, fruit, bird, and animal species. There are also fishing ponds and water amusement areas for sightseeing, entertainment, and leisure. Within the forest farm, there are the historic sites of Donglai Temple and Xilai Temple. A new-style tourism scenic area has begun to take shape, focusing on the wetland forests and natural scenery of northern Jiangsu, integrating leisure, vacation, sketching, and recreation.

Jinhu Water Forest Park is the largest man-made ecological forest in northern Jiangsu. The vast expanse of lush forests creates a natural oxygen bar and has been designated as an open tourist attraction by the Huai’an Tourism Bureau. In addition to towering metasequoia trees, the park features ornamental trees such as golden weeping willows and ginkgos. Dozens of bird species, including wild geese, egrets, pheasants, mallards, herons, and black-collared swallows, fly through the woods. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city, stroll along the forest paths, tread on soft earth, breathe in the fragrance of plants, listen to birdsong and insect chirps, and watch birds play — you’ll experience a return to nature and a reconnection with simplicity.

Tugou Town: On May 18, 2015, the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government approved the revocation of Yinqi Town and Tugou Town in Jinhu County, establishing Yintu Town with the combined administrative regions of the former Yinqi and Tugou towns. The town government is located at No. 1 Yanhe Road, Yintu Town.

Tugou Town — Located on the western shores of Gaoyou Lake and Baoying Lake. The town has a total population of 27,000 people, with 60,000 acres of water surface and 60,000 acres of arable land. In 2003, the town's total industrial and agricultural output value was 640 million yuan, GDP was 260 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 4,080 yuan.
