Recently, a tourism promotion conference themed “Breaking Through the Haze, Experiencing the Fresh Air of Taining” was held in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, generating strong repercussions in the tourism industry. Over 20 travel agencies and major local news media outlets such as the People’s Daily Overseas Edition, Yangtze Evening News, Suzhou Publishing & Media Group, and Suzhou TV Station all sent reporters to participate in the promotion conference, expressing their desire to take part in the upcoming tourism field trips (creative tours) activities. It is reported that starting in April, Shanghai will launch five direct soft-sleeper trains to Taining, Fujian, and Taining will also operate five soft-sleeper trains on April 19, May 24, June 28, July 19, and August 12 respectively, addressing consumers’ transportation convenience needs. In addition, Taining will participate as one of the tea village tourism cooperation alliance members in this year’s Shanghai Tea Culture Festival, joining various activities to promote Shanghai’s tea culture tourism.
