Emperor Yao Park is a key project and scenic spot in Jinhu County's efforts to establish itself as a national garden city. It serves as an iconic site showcasing the culture of Emperor Yao. Stretching 382 meters from north to south and 110 meters from east to west, the park covers an area of 43,000 square meters with a total investment of 13 million yuan. Centered around the achievements of Emperor Yao — such as creating the calendar, founding the nation, and implementing benevolent governance — the park features various landscape nodes that abstractly summarize the life and experiences of Emperor Yao. The park is divided into a main entrance plaza area, a public activity area, and a waterside recreation area. Key structures include the Memorial Corridor of Emperor Yao, the Statue of Emperor Yao, the Pottery Art Forest, the Simplicity Garden, the Governance Platform, the Drum of Remonstrance, the Talent-Seeking Garden, the Eighteen-Turn Bridge, the Pavilion of Virtuous Rulers, and the Moon-Inviting Corridor. The entire park is imbued with a rich atmosphere of Yao culture, providing visitors with an immersive experience that fosters ecological awareness and historical appreciation, offering a place where tourists can truly engage with the legacy of Emperor Yao.
