The Ancient City of Emperor Yao, also known as the Jinhu Impression Tourism City, is located in the South New District of Jinhu County, Jiangsu Province. It covers a total area of 1,050 acres, with a total construction area of 840,000 square meters, and the core tourism zone spans 723 acres. Construction began in September 2011 and was completed in 2015. Covering 1,000 acres, it includes supporting facilities such as a five-star hotel and a super-large parking lot. It aims to become an important tourist destination in East China and to be developed into a AAAAA-level tourist attraction. The developer of the "Jinhu Impression Tourism City" (Ancient City of Emperor Yao) is Jiangsu Hengye Ancient Town Culture Tourism Development Co., Ltd., a core subsidiary of Yunnan Hengye Enterprise and a key development and investment focus of the parent company. It is a large-scale enterprise integrating tourism attraction construction and real estate development. The company has a registered capital of 50 million yuan and is currently developing a large-scale, high-quality comprehensive tourism real estate project in Jinhu County, backed by cultural elements, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan.

The Ancient City of Emperor Yao is located in the South New District of Jinhu, Jiangsu (at the intersection of Renmin South Road and Qinghe Road), to the east of Renmin South Road, west of Linong River, south of Xinjian River, and north of Jinbao South Line. With a total investment of 3 billion yuan, it is a cultural tourism real estate project built to the standards of a national AAAAA-level scenic area. It is invested by Yunnan Hengye Ancient Town Culture Tourism Investment Group, and developed, constructed, and operated by its core wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangsu Hengye Ancient Town Culture Tourism Development Co., Ltd. The Ancient City of Emperor Yao is a large-scale cultural tourism hub that uses Jiangnan-style architecture as its foundation and Emperor Yao culture as its soul. Jiangnan-style architecture is characterized by ancient southern Chinese architectural styles, infused with residential design elements from the Huai'an and Jinhu regions to create a unique ancient cityscape. Emperor Yao culture is based on the ancient culture from the era of Emperor Yao, who was born in Taji Town, Jinhu County, combined with local folk and traditional cultural elements to form a distinctive cultural tourism theme. Once completed, the project will serve as the tourism and cultural center of the Jianghuai region, a hub for tourism commerce, and a film and television production base, attracting 3 million tourists annually. The project has been listed as a key cultural tourism development project in Jiangsu Province during the 12th Five-Year Plan period.
