Baochi Mountain Park will be a landmark horticultural exposition park showcasing the beauty of a green-water city and embodying the charm of "Wu culture and Chu style." The park features numerous attractions, including the E-era Sculpture, which sits on a leaf-shaped ground and becomes the focal point of the square’s view, a landscape corridor symbolizing the 13 participating cities, and a water-friendly platform that brings visitors closer to nature, among others. The entire park boasts beautiful scenery, shallow lake waters, and vibrant plants in all four seasons. Visitors can enjoy sightseeing and strolling while experiencing the harmony between the natural environment and human activity. The mountain and its surrounding group of buildings at the entrance, the ingenious combination of natural red rocks and artificial stone, as well as the vertical waterfall wall, give a sense of grandeur, elegance, and romance. Unique architecture blends with the majestic mountain, becoming a visual highlight of the park. The “Three Immortal Islands” of Penglai, Fangzhang, and Yingzhou in Shanzih Lake, the waterside greenhouse resembling a sailing ship, and the Golden Butterfly Garden with fluttering butterflies together create a richly layered lakeside island landscape. There is also a children's playground, Peach Blossom Stream, classical bianzhong bells at the north entrance, and the “Thirteen City Scenic Areas”—including Nanjing’s Fish Joy Pavilion, Xuzhou’s Han Dynasty Charm, Lianyungang’s Misty Port, Huai’an’s Willow & Wind Moon, Nantong’s Sunset Stone Melody… Each attraction is uniquely designed and decorated, featuring distinct characteristics scattered throughout the park, adding poetic charm to the entire Baochi Mountain Park. The park’s plant layout fully considers seasonal features, respects the natural environment, and features carefully selected and artfully arranged plants, ground covers, and flowers of different seasons, blooming periods, heights, and colors. After meticulous planning, the park offers distinctive features in every season.

Baochi Mountain is divided into eight scenic areas—A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H—all surrounding Shanzih Lake. With interconnected landscapes, cultural elements, and vivid illustrations, it brilliantly showcases the splendor of Huai’an. Hosting the garden expo here is sure to make a huge splash and rewrite the history of horticultural events.

Area A includes attractions: Life Square, Pedestrian Viewing Corridor, the E-era Sculpture, and two of the Thirteen Cities—Dragon Chasing Blue Waves (Changzhou) and Willow in the Breeze (Wuxi).

Area B includes attractions: Rose Terrace, Rose Square, Waterside Greenhouse, Wooden Viewing Platform, Rose Square, and two of the Thirteen Cities—Fish Joy Pavilion (Nanjing) and Yangzhou’s Exquisite View (Guangling).

Area C is entirely within the Thirteen Cities, including Elegant Greenery in the Woods (Suzhou), Layered Forests (Zhenjiang), Moonlit Mirror Pool (Huai’an), and Fengyi Bridge connected to the west entrance.

Area D includes attractions: Silver Sand Sea, Happy Swimming Area, Han Pavilion, Three Immortal Islands, South Entrance, Horticulture Exhibition Hall, Yuntai Stone Carvings, Wind-Listening Bridge, and five of the Thirteen Cities—Sunset Stone Melody (Nantong), Plum and Orchid Sentiment (Taizhou), Bamboo Path to Seclusion (Suqian), Han Dynasty Charm (Xuzhou), and Misty Port (Lianyungang).

Area E includes attractions: North Entrance Square—Yumai Scenic Stones, Qing Bell Bridge, Qing Bell Path, Willow Dyke with Lotus in Breeze, Mountain Harmony and Green Water—Three-Colored Dan Terrace, Natural Path, Shade Platform, and Lotus-Loving Pavilion.

Area F includes the amusement zone, fishing cabins, and one of the Thirteen Cities—Green Lawn and Verdant Charm (Yancheng).

Area G includes commercial water street, Peach Blossom Stone Stream, Peach Blossom Fairy Island, Peach Blossom Fan Bridge, East Entrance, Dance of Water, and Scent-Stepping Plum Quest.

Area H is the Baochi Mountain scenic area and a Taoist cultural site. It includes attractions: Crimson Cloud Waterfall, Exhibition Hall, Cave Paradise, Guanyin Child-Giving Cave, Heart-Unite Stone, Recluse Calling Terrace, Baochi Mountain Legend Relief Wall, Lingbao Cave Heaven, Yuantian Cave, Broken Stele Forest, Taoist Story Realm, and Heaven’s Terrace.

Several hiking routes lead up the mountain along the mountain path, each combining different attractions:

The northern route starts from the Peach Blossom Waterfall at the northern foot, winds through the Taoist Story Realm, and reaches Heaven’s Terrace. Along the way, peach blossoms provide shade, recreating the scene of “peaches blooming in radiant splendor, cherries ripening into red jewels.”

The eastern route passes through the reconstructed ancient rugged path, leads through the Broken Stele Forest to the mid-mountain Jinghui Pavilion, then to Yuantian Cave, and finally makes its way to Heaven’s Terrace for views. Emerging from the mountain base of Yuantian Cave, themed around the Eight Immortals, there is a platform offering a bird’s-eye view of the entire open-air courtyard. Walking along the winding mountain path leads to Lingbao Cave Heaven. This route revives the historical ruins described as “ancient temples on towering paths, scripture towers standing halfway to the sky,” replacing the scripture tower with the delicate Jinghui Pavilion to better harmonize with the actual landscape.
