The Youth Power · 2016 China Open Water Swimming Championship, hosted by the China National Committee for the Care of the Next Generation and organized by Aopule Open Water Sports Culture Development (Beijing) Co., Ltd., took place from June to August 2016 in 10 regional competition cities across the country, with the finals being held at the Qingjiang Gallery in Yichang City, Hubei Province.
"Open water swimming" is a mass-participation sporting activity with broad public appeal and a long history. It enjoys widespread grassroots support and allows participants to enjoy the beauty of nature while building physical strength and enhancing willpower.
Aopule Open Water Sports Culture Development (Beijing) Co., Ltd. has decided to hold the event for six consecutive years starting this year, striving to develop it into an international professional competition and make it one of China’s most professional open water swimming brand events.
