On the morning of July 28, the People's Government of Qingjiangpu District, Huai'an City, and Suzhou Chuangyuan Investment Development (Group) Co., Ltd. officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement and launched the Book Fragrance Mansion Hotel project. Attending the signing ceremony were Cai Lixin, Mayor of Huai'an City; Liu Chunqi, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of Suzhou Chuangyuan Group; and Zhu Wei, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Book Fragrance Hotel Group.

Mayor Cai Lixin extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Suzhou Chuangyuan Group and offered sincere congratulations on the successful signing of the strategic cooperation agreement and the Book Fragrance Mansion Hotel project. Cai noted that after multiple rounds of discussions and sincere efforts from both sides, the Book Fragrance Mansion Hotel project has finally “bloomed” in Qingjiangpu District. This marks a great beginning for the strategic cooperation between Suzhou Chuangyuan Group and Qingjiangpu District, opening broad prospects for deeper collaboration and mutual benefits. She expressed hope that Qingjiangpu District would accelerate project progress, develop the Book Fragrance Mansion into a high-standard reception hotel, and put it into operation as soon as possible to elevate the level and quality of modern service industries in the district.
Liu Chunqi stated that Chuangyuan Group is a large state-owned enterprise group under the jurisdiction of Suzhou, and one of the city’s first 14 landmark enterprises. It has been ranked among China’s Top 500 Enterprises and Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises for 14 consecutive years. The group is a comprehensive corporation with three main business areas: manufacturing, financial investment, and hospitality and catering. In the future, Chuangyuan Group will engage in comprehensive strategic cooperation based on Huai'an’s urban planning and industrial layout. Collaborations will be carried out in fields such as environmental governance, hotel services, advanced manufacturing, distinctive rural villages, and high-quality agricultural product bases, jointly promoting the implementation of major projects and contributing to the economic development and improvement of people’s livelihoods in Qingjiangpu District and Huai'an.
The Huai'an Book Fragrance Mansion Hotel project is located within Yangguang Lake Park on the southwestern side of Huai'an City, approximately 2 kilometers from the Huai'an Food Expo venue. The project faces the river and lake, surrounded by an open park, offering a tranquil environment. A river, a lake, a tree, and a residence paint a natural picture of scenic beauty. The hotel has a total construction area of 46,990 m², including 36,264 m² above ground and 10,726 m² underground. The hotel building features a 3- to 5-story new Chinese architectural style, with plans to include 252 guest rooms and over 1,200 dining seats. Themed around “River & Lake City, Bookish City, Gourmet City, and Eco City,” it aims to become a comprehensive five-star cultural boutique hotel integrating accommodation, dining, conferences, and leisure entertainment.
The Huai'an Book Fragrance Mansion project is positioned as a five-star, culturally themed boutique hotel, aligning with the current and future development direction of the Book Fragrance Hotel Group. Huai'an boasts profound historical heritage and a distinctive Huaihe River culture. The hotel shares a cultural lineage with Huai'an and the concept of bookishness. The collaboration represents an exchange of cultural philosophies and a continuation of the Book Fragrance spirit.
