Wuxing Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Guide Wuxing Temple is located in Waigang Town, Jiading District, and was first built in the 10th year of the Tianjian era during the Liang Dynasty of the Southern Dynasties (511 AD). Initially, it covered an area of over 10 acres and was divided into an eastern and a western courtyard—the eastern courtyard dedicated to Chongfu and the western to Yongde. At its center were more than 100 structures including the Mahavira Hall, the Great Compassion Pavilion, and the Wenchang Pavilion (folklore claims there were as many as 5,408 rooms). The temple enjoyed continuous incense offerings all year round. Introduction After the liberation, Wuxing Temple was once used as a theater and an agricultural machinery station. During the Cultural Revolution, the Mahavira Hall, the Great Compassion Pavilion, and other structures were completely demolished. In 1994, over one million yuan was raised to renovate and rebuild the temple’s mountain gate and the Heavenly King Hall, and in May 1995, it officially reopened to the public.

The reconstruction of Wuxing Temple has not only provided Buddhist devotees with an additional place for religious activities but also added a scenic destination for tourists. Transportation Address: No. 5428, Hu-Yi Highway
