Shanghai Auto Expo Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Built around the Shanghai Auto Museum, Shanghai Auto Expo Park is located on the southern side of the core trade zone of the Shanghai International Automobile City. It borders Muyu South Road to the west and Park Road to the north, with the two rivers, Zhuzaobang and Wusong River, flowing through the park.

Shanghai Auto Expo Park is a comprehensive park themed around car entertainment, car exhibitions, and car culture, covering a total construction area of 768,000 square meters. Its design features are mainly reflected in three aspects: the park has the landscape appearance of a natural mountain-water garden. The traditional "lake to the south and mountain to the north" layout forms a spatial environment where "mountains shape momentum with the lake, and water brings vitality through the mountains." Specifically, the park’s diverse structural framework is composed of mountain ranges, water systems, islands, wetlands, green spaces, and shorelines, fully expressing, shaping, restoring nature, and re-establishing a harmonious and unified relationship among land, hills, lakesides, and flora and fauna.

The park is divided into two relatively independent sections: the exhibition and convention area and the leisure and sightseeing area. The exhibition and convention area is located in the west, forming a garden-style public area where buildings are relatively concentrated. The leisure and sightseeing area is in the east, serving as the main space for visitors and the concentrated embodiment of car-themed culture. The leisure and sightseeing area is formed by the superimposition and combination of three elements: the natural mountain-water garden, the international style garden, and the car culture theme park.

The park’s International Style Garden showcases the unique landscape characteristics of major car nations symbolically by representing the distinct architectural styles and traditional gardening methods and landscaping elements of countries such as China, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, and Italy. The varied and colorful landscapes are combined with displays of cars from each country, merging car culture with garden landscape culture seamlessly, offering visitors a rich experience.
