MaLu Grape Theme Park

MaLu Grape Theme Park is a national AA-level tourist attraction and a science education base.

To optimize the grape industry, promote grape culture, and showcase the scientific development of MaLu grapes over the past 27 years, in March 2005, the MaLu Town Government approved the construction project of the “MaLu Grape Theme Park” with a total investment of 40 million yuan. The MaLu Grape Theme Park is located at No. 27 Dazhi Road, MaLu Town, Jiading District (very close to the intersection of A30 and Liuxiang Road), and though it is away from the bustling urban area, it enjoys convenient transportation.

Relying on 500 acres of grapevines and utilizing modern agricultural facility cultivation techniques, the MaLu Grape Theme Park integrates scientific research, demonstration, training, and leisure, striving to present visitors with ten major attractions: the “Lovers’ Grape Garden,” “Picking Grape Garden,” “Ornamental Grape Garden,” “Water Grape Garden,” “Grape Bonsai Garden,” “Grape Arbor,” “Grape Science Garden,” “Grape Science Museum,” “Fruit and Flower Garden,” and “Fishing Center.”

With its beautiful environment and comprehensive tourism facilities, the MaLu Grape Park fully showcases the charm of rural scenery and modern agriculture. In 2006, it was named a “National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site”; in May 2008, the MaLu Grape Park was designated as a “Shanghai Science Education Base.”

Since its establishment, the MaLu Grape Park has successfully hosted three editions of the MaLu Grape Culture Festival, attracting visitors from all over the country for inspection, tours, and study.

Transportation: Take the Shangjia Line, Nanjia Line, Beijia Line, 822, Hutang Line, or Metro Line 11 — get off at MaLu Station and transfer to MaLu Line 1 to the final stop (Dayu Village)

Exit A12 at Jiading — turn right onto Jiajian Highway and go straight — turn right onto Liuxiang Highway and go straight — turn left and go straight along Dazhi Road for 1 kilometer

Exit A12 at MaLu — turn right onto Bao’an Highway and go straight — turn left onto Liuxiang Highway and go straight — turn right and go straight along Dazhi Road for 1 kilometer
