The 4th Reserve Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment of the Army serves as a patriotic education base.

The Patriotic Education Base of the 4th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment has three functional zones. Zone one is the "National Defense Garden," consisting of four educational modules: Glorious Journey, New Voyages in National Defense, Honorable Units, and Sacred Mission. Zone two is the "Missile Simulation Training Hall," which primarily introduces relevant national defense knowledge and provides a simulated operation platform to achieve an educational and entertaining purpose. Zone three includes various storage rooms and grassroots companies, mainly showcasing excellent internal order and standardized management standards. In recent years, the 4th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment has actively contributed to local cultural development, extensively carrying out patriotic education activities for local party and government agencies, primary and secondary schools, enterprises and institutions, and "two new" organizations. In 2009, it was designated as the "Jiading District Patriotic Education Base" by the Jiading District Civilization Committee.
