Shanghai International Automobile City is located in the Anting area, covering an area of 89 square kilometers. It includes major zones such as the core area, vehicle manufacturing and auto parts production zones, the international racetrack, the education park, and the new Anting Town area. It is a comprehensive automobile industry base and a modern new town integrating manufacturing, R&D, trade, exhibitions, sports, tourism, and more. It was a key project during Shanghai’s 11th Five-Year Plan period, serving as the comprehensive automobile industry base in the western part of the city.
