Xichun Bridge (Dengying Bridge) is located diagonally opposite to the southeast of Qiuxia Garden on East Street in Jiading Town, dating back to the Ming Dynasty.

Construction control zone: to the north: East Street; to the south: 10 meters beyond the protected area; to the east and west: 20 meters beyond the protected area. Parallel bridges are not allowed within the construction control zone.

Jiading Town Subdistrict: Before the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, an ancient coastline formed at the mouth of the Yangtze River, and human activity was already present along the Lianqi River (now the area around the West Gate Old Street). By the Liang Dynasty’s Tianjian era (502–519), a settlement had formed. During the Tang Dynasty, the ancient town of Jiading got its name from the Lianqi River and was called Lianqi Market. On the ninth day of the twelfth month of the tenth year of the Jiading era in the Southern Song Dynasty (January 7, 1218), the county seat was established and named Jiading after the era name, a name that has continued to this day. In September 2000, Jiading Town was restructured from a town into a subdistrict.
