Waixian Wangxian Bridge is located south of Gupu Bridge in Waixian Town and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Waixian Wangxian Bridge is a cultural heritage site protected at the district level by Jiading District.

Protected area: 5 meters to the east and west outside the bridge, and 10 meters to the south and north.

Construction control zone: 10 meters to the east and west beyond the protected area, 20 meters to the south, and extending to Waiqian Highway to the north. No parallel bridges are allowed within the construction control zone.

Waixian Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Jiading District, Shanghai. Established as the Waixian People's Commune in 1958, became a township in 1983, and was upgraded to a town in 1993. Located in the northwest of the urban area, it covers an area of 24 square kilometers with a population of 20,000.
